Community Service is just that; provide a form of community service through our local union either outside the local or within the membership. We also attend conferences and workshops with reference to providing community services such as:

Food and clothing drives and collecting health care items for those less fortunate

Work at area shelters serving food

Attend other community service events put on or hosted by our local or other locals. Toys for Tots or the Cobo Hall Christmas, gift events in which we participate each year

Serve as a referral service for members to assist them with financial, medical and personal issues
