Great News from Doris Edmonds!
Larissa Carr, my daughter, is now a senior at University of Michigan (U of M) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is 20 years old and a Cass Technical High School alumni. Since graduating from high school, she has maintained a 3.5 GPA at U of M. She was interviewed 3 weeks ago by Diana Lewis of Channel 7 Action News. The focus was on Detroit 20/20 vision. They asked young adults about their prospective view of the New Detroit. Larissa works with the Young Girl Mentoring Program and has been appointed as Director of Community Service with the Detroit Urban League Department of Education.
Congratulations to Larissa on her out-standing accomplishments!
